Gert Malan
Founder And Managing Director
Gert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in industrial coatings and flooring systems. His journey in the field began with product training at Ivory Industrials in Durban, where he honed his skills and expertise. Subsequently, Ivory Industrials was acquired by Flowcrete South Africa, allowing Gert to continue his career development within the same industry.
During his tenure, Gert specialized in epoxy flooring systems, focusing on various aspects such as preparation, pressure washing, and application of these durable and high-performance coatings. His commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements led him to undergo further product training through Roy's Mica Empangeni, where he gained valuable insights as a floor manager.
In addition to his managerial role, Gert also worked as an external sales representative and building plan reader at BBS Mica Build Richards Bay. His responsibilities included interacting with clients, providing sales support, and utilizing his expertise in quantity estimations for building projects and developments.
Gert's comprehensive understanding of the industry and exceptional leadership abilities led him to the role of site supervisor at Wilcote Empangeni. In this position, he effectively managed a skilled team of workers on various sites, overseeing tasks such as pressure cleaning, roof painting, and waterproofing contracts. His dedication to quality control and meticulous attention to detail ensured successful project completion.
With a proven track record in the industrial coatings and flooring sector, Gert continues to contribute his expertise, knowledge, and leadership skills to drive excellence and deliver exceptional results in every project he undertakes.
